Whether you have never practiced yoga before, or are an experienced practitioner, this simple, yet powerful and unique way of combining Movement, Chinese Medicine, Breath, Meditation and Self-Observation will give you a deeper sense of your inner balance.
ELEMENTAL YOGA
WHat is ELEMENTAL YOGA?
According to traditional Chinese medicine, Nature is your nature.
The Five Elements—Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space—not only shape the external world but are also archetypes deeply woven into the fabric of your being.
Flowing through your meridian system, they govern the activity of your body and your entire emotional landscape.
When our energy flows freely, the five elements are in balance, creating a beautiful dance of forces that give rise to the best experience of our human nature.
When personal choices result in your body, mind, spirit or life becoming imbalanced, a course of organic corrections begins and can manifest in any kind of emotional, mental, and physical symptoms.
Elemental Yoga is a natural therapy based on the practice of harmonizing health-related energies by balancing the elements within.
Taught through accessible and intelligent sequences, which our bodies interpret as energetic medicine, this science strategically works through health issues within our whole being.
The result is a deeply sincere somatic experience aiming to support you through physical issues, blockages, emotional challenges, patterns, and habits, to bring profound harmony to the body and mind, while simultaneously supporting your alignment with seasonal changes and natural rhythms.
The practices don’t require any previous learning in Yoga or movement. The accessibility of Elemental Yoga is its great strength.
Once we understand the simplicity through which Yoga works, we can quickly begin to restore balance to our inner life and embark on the fundamental learning of developing health and harmony with the world we live in

Elemental Yoga is not associated with a specific yoga style. Instead, this holistic somatic approach can be integrated into different styles of movement depending on: specific needs, time of the day and period of the year.
My yoga-inspired movement practices wave together a lifelong journey of somatic disciplines and explorations.
Classes can have different levels and intensity, but they are all meant to be Accessible and Safe, so you can
have an EXPERIENCE OF YOURSELF and
Concentrate more on WHAT YOU FEEL than on what your shape looks like, giving your system the time to embody the pose and disclose it. -
These classes are meant to match the more dynamic energy we have in the morning and during daytime.
We will intentionally move through standing poses, active breathing and some dynamic body flows to create heat and move stagnant energy.
The class will always end with a time of relaxation, allowing the body to slow down and integrate the experience. -
Energetically matching the 2nd half of the day, when the energies of our bodies start to collect inward, they mainly take place on the ground. While maintaining a medium level of intensity, these classes avoid standing poses and focus on creating more “internal” heat through time and breath.

Understanding ourselves and how we can actively contribute to our health, as much as we have unconsciously contributed to our illness”.
